Brobot and his appearance in Action, as well as his new design.
(Although why a new design if it will appear in it only at the end? I’m still thinking about it)
This old Brobot and its approximate appearance in Adventure (from the beginning):
And now here’s how it should be "modernized":
And here is his “head”, for example:
And of course the new Brobot in color! Very bad color:
Why did we gather? .
As a small bonus, a couple of screenshots during development:
The latter can be used as a mini-map if you get lost 🙂
exactly 100! Collect them all! And there is also a secret that is probably difficult to find.
And yes, for now I’m using Luke’s model from the last log, even without animation D:!
I hope for the next one I’ll make the model a little better, there will be animations and in general I’ll try to polish the “player” object.
And one more thing .
Beggar! This is not your Kickstarter!
It’s good when you’re busy doing what you love, but it’s even better when you get something from it.n. profit, right??
I hope that you liked this prototype, despite its being far from complete. It’s not just that I do this – I do it for the players. And it doesn’t even matter what someone shouts, like “I make games for fun.”!" or "for myself and this is art!"of course they can really do for this, but I do for players. Well, quickly take out your wallets! Money and decorations on the table! Alive! — Petrosianism.
If you want in any way help the project, then you can throw in at least 5 rubles, I’ll be happy with everything 🙂

Of course, whoever wants to help will help – I don’t demand, I just offer 🙂
What’s next?
Honestly, I don’t know. Activity https://bingositesnotongamstop.co.uk/5-deposit-bingo/ around the project has died down, perhaps this is due to the fact that there are no logs. You can suggest your own topics that interest you.
And yes, it looks like the project will remain on Unity for now (at least until the final prototype = almost a game), and then I’ll think about whether it’s worth doing “everything in my own way and in my own language”.
Peace to all, guys! 🙂

As for the subsided excitement, there wasn’t much information and people had less and less to say)
Same with all projects. There are two stages of reviving interest in it from the outside: at the beginning and at the end.
And there is silence between them. At this time we just wait and believe)
I also haven’t played Zelda D: I just saw it briefly and was hooked by the graphical design (which seems to be for the 3DS, I don’t know the exact name, but there’s a screenshot in the design doc).
Yes, it was like that – like some kind of Sonic, without him)
Hmm, the thing with camera degrees might turn out to be interesting – I’ll have to implement it and see.
Looks like you need to press LMB or Ctrl. And then I remembered that maybe I cut this thing out of this prototype – I deceived you D:
How did you get to it without jumping O_o? What are you, a magician or something? ?
😀 Yes, you can correct it) Otherwise there really is something… unconventional about it :/
Drawing/modeling legs is a sore subject of mine – they just don’t work out for me (
I have special plans for gray-haired Luke 🙂
Ho-ho)
When I came up with a “bunker” and then tried to develop a story (namely a story, not a game plot), it turned out that the bunker became part of one big Universe 🙂
(And just yesterday he became part of an even larger “game universe”, but I won’t say anything about it yet because there’s nothing to say, just an idea)
In general, if you write it down, you can divide it like this:
1st (Bunker hatch . ) – fight against phobia and “escape” from the bunker.
2nd (Project Brodilka) – saving Brobot by searching for spare parts and a new “body”. (post-apocalypse).
3rd (not yet clear) – possibly between 1st and 2nd. "Robot in Cyberspace".
4th (again, the fate is not clear) – depends on the ending of the Adventurer. New Brobot’s search for Luke.
5th (similar, but there is an idea) – an older Luke waves an uber-sword and takes revenge for… (spoiler).
I think comments like “conveyor!" and "you finish one first!». I should note that these are only ideas, not planned games, of course, I would like to implement them, but it will go as it goes 🙂
I’m talking about rocks) I don’t know how to fix this, but it seems that in Unity there is some kind of thing for a character in 3rd person, I hope that it will work.
In fact, I thought about making him like a GG, but then I changed my mind) Perhaps he will become the main character in another game – I don’t know yet 🙂
here is the story in three parts!)))
Part 1 – a boy saving BroBot, fights his phobias and assembles a new body for his mind.
2nd part – the boy goes out into the world to collect the necessary components to repair the house (bunker) while BroBot is doing all the repairs he can… Adventures in the world of the post-apocalypse))))
Part 3 – BroBot helps a grown-up boy out of some trouble
so… now we need to write everything down)))
Yes, it somehow walked calmly over the stones. There, at first, the nuts lie on a slight elevation. At first I thought I had to go around there, but when I went around I didn’t notice the passage there – I returned and stupidly tried to get there and GG went up to the nuts. And I was like: “Why is that possible??"And went even higher. Then I was quietly running through the mountains and came across a bee.
Well, I don’t know, but it’s there for this type of game? Maybe it was made for FPS, and not for… I don’t even know what genre this is: 3 Well, that is, maybe it’s channeled for a different camera position.
Wow! And the character physicist is to blame for everything) Or rather, “honestly” movement through changing speed, it looks like we need to find a normal Character Controller
Yeah) The strangest thing is that I used an idea from the official Unity lessons. Why then do they “teach” this if it’s wrong in theory :/
Without the ability to rotate the camera, everything is bad. Why the jump is not given right away is strange, because damn, anyone can do it in their right mind and body.
A bee in you know what place, which is there only for the sake of pushing it there
The build is just super raw. As I already said, you need to rotate the camera, or change the camera angle, otherwise it’s very inconvenient. The movement is very strange. Maybe the fact that without animation has this effect, but the character seems to be moving very slowly. Plus there is a lot of inertia – I don’t know if it’s a bug or a feature.
The general impression of the concept is slow sonic in 3D.
