Without bothering with this topic, I immediately want to look around and get to know the local surroundings. And there really is something to see! Many places are really very interesting, so much so that the shortcomings of the graphics are no longer noticeable.

If you make a slight cosmetic repair to the map, then you can safely insert it into the shadow of Chernobyl, and say that it happened.
I don’t know if this is a minus or not, but I couldn’t help but inform you that, unfortunately, my ideas were not brought into the game. You will see on your screens cropped GSC ideas in an online wrapper. And this raises the question: How do you feel about this??
Personally I think it’s even better. If your own head can’t come up with anything ingenious, then it’s better to follow the beaten path and not reinvent the wheel.

The graphics here are quite pleasing to the eye, and compared to other online projects they look great. The models have a sufficient number of polygons so that everything is harmonious. But textures are often disappointing with their quality, but here the situation is quite strange. The fact is that, for example, a fence can be perfectly drawn, but the player’s jacket will have blurry contours. It’s also worth noting a rather unpleasant little thing that annoys owners of wide-format monitors (I myself am one). Unfortunately, everything appears to us in an extended form. I think I should stop here, since I’m running out of words, and a brief description of the graphics sternly shakes a finger and promises to go in cycles. Yes, in fact, it’s not why we love online games, and whoever doesn’t like them plays Call of Duty. *double facepalm to me, mentioning CoD is in bad taste*

The authors didn’t, and here they got smart and actually transferred everything from STC.
And yes, there is a PDA here, there are many functions offered, but so far I have noted only three in working order.

A few words about the map.
Even a map scratched by savages on a stone will tell you more interesting and educational than the kata in the PDA of an ordinary stalker. I do not exclude that its low functionality is a privilege of a buggy version, or a step towards realism, but there are only 2 possibilities. One of them is to look at a gray-green square, which is divided into small squares with a grid and captions in the manner of a sea battle. It is of no value, since without magnification, which is not provided, you will hardly be able to see anything there. But here is the second and last opportunity to place marks on the map. They will have to be installed on an industrial scale, since even the banal location of the merchant is not on the map.

There is also a menu for the clan and tasks, but everything is normal and simple there.

The pumping system is quite simple. There are three types: weapon mastery, physical qualities, and additional skills. In addition. skills include the ability to upgrade/repair guns, etc.n. Points are awarded as always for completed tasks and kills.

Yes, this game was a crushing failure at least in some ways. The sounds are bad. No, this doesn’t convey the whole drama… Eureka! Like this: The sounds are TERRIBLE. But Cybertime doesn’t think so, in their version the shots are a) quieter than footsteps, b) for some reason when I crumple the paper very quickly I hear shots and Stalker Online doesn’t it seem strange to you?
Music… The music that plays here is clearly not on topic (especially the composition from the menu). A plus to all this is the absence of sounds from the surrounding world.

I was fired up with a frantic desire to write about it, albeit briefly, but separately, after the first reload of the pistol. Our hero, while changing the clip, simply masterfully spreads his arms to the sides, opening himself to the sun, wind, freedom, bullets and radiation. But that’s not all. Jumping requires special attention! After all, being able to do them in this game turns into a real art. Personally, I can only jump from a running start; in any other state, the poor model takes a monstrous position but still doesn’t leave the ground (she doesn’t look any better in flight).

Dialogues/quests.

There weren’t that many NPCs (or I didn’t find them), and they can offer us poor options and dry dialogues. Usually it comes down to something simple:
You: There are orders?
NPC: Yes, do the *task*
You: Okay.
The tasks do not shine with originality, you and your flimsy pistol will help people in serious uniform and a solid gun, cope with the dog/hog that scared him to death. Everything will be quite simple and standard: bring it, kill it, take it.

Quite a good online project with quite sane gameplay and decent graphics. Serious disadvantages include:
